Aunt Responsibilities

So what kind of Aunt am I lately? The pretty horrible kind. My sister's been keeping up her end of the bargain (in exchange for me making sure I'm updating my blog regularly) by sending me gorgeous updated photos of my adorable little niece and I've been too busy to brag and post them here.

Why on earth am I posting flabuliciously disgusting updated photos of my body when I could be sharing these FAR more amazing and eye pleasing photos of SUCH a beautiful little girl? I know, right?

So here it, the latest batch of wonderful photo moments, expressing how beautiful and full of life my niece is. Seriously, is there any cuter way to eat your Cheerios in the morning? Oh yeah, she was made to be photographed.

And look! Finally, a photo with my beautiful sister in it too!

Can't you just visualize this photo in motion? Seeing her trying to walk around with this giant helmet on, altering her normal balance? The giggles that would follow after she tumbles over. :o)

Happy Birthday K! Growing up, 2 already?! Wow, what a cute little cake all for her. Cake...mmmm...cake sounds really good right now.

The east coast has had a LOT of snow recently, and while I'm NOT a cold weather person and honestly hate snow most of the time (give me a warm sunny day & a pair of flip flops!), you can't help but love this photo! What better way to make lemonade out of lemons than to bundle up and play in the snow!

Again, I'm really sorry I've been totally slacking on my aunt duties lately! I promise I'll try harder. But you know what would be even better? I think my sister should totally start her own blog so she can brag all about my niece in even more details!!! Wouldn't that be awesome?! I'd love to read your blog sis! :o)

It Worked!!!

Look at what I received!!! Adorable new pictures of my too cute for words little niece!!! So keeping up with my end of the deal, I thought I'd help her mommy share with the world just how sweet her daughter is!

In this photo I think she looks EXACTLY like her mommy, esp. around the eyes! I wish I had a picture of my sis at this age I could post for comparison.

I'm in Trouble

So, as it turns out, I'm in trouble...trouble for not updating my blog. But here's the thing, I had no idea my sister actually read my blog regularly! (I'm so excited to hear you do!)

Life has just been so much more than insane, and very stressful lately, and so the really fun, enjoyable, stress-relieving parts of life often seem to be the first things to go when life gets crazy. I've been keeping up with reading a lot of my favorite blogs, but haven't been writing anything myself. Mainly because I'd love to find the time to finish uploading all the recovered blog history I accidentally deleted before moving on, but for some reason life just won't stand still and give me the time to do that.

Of course, I have a bone to pick with my sister too! Because, you see, I have this totally beautiful, little niece:

I know, she's totally cute, right? But this picture is from LAST year's Halloween!!! And in fact, the most recent pictures I've seen of my niece from this summer, were sent to me from my other sister:

And just like that a year has gone by!

So, because I'd love to see a ton more pics of my niece I never actually get to see (because we live on opposites sides of the U.S.) I promise I'll try to update my blog more often in exchange for more proud mommy showing off my niece photos, deal? Okay, deal. Love you sis!
