She's here, she's here!!!
After an INCREDIBLY long, exciting wait all day today and not hearing anything, I finally couldn't take it anymore and started making phone calls to everyone to find out the news.
There were some major delays on sharing this good news, and I haven't talked to my sister, so I really don't have many details yet, but I do know the major details that matter...which is that everything went well and mommy and baby girl are both doing very well tonight.
I even managed to receive a picture already of her!
Isn't she beautiful???!!! I'm told there's a thick, full head of dark hair under her little pink hat and so far she has blue eyes (but that could change, since her mommy has beautiful brown eyes and her big sis's eyes changed color too).
She's even named after me, how cool is that!!! We share the same middle name and I helped a little bit with the suggestion for her first name from the girl name we had chosen for KW if he had been a girl, only spelled differently.
This makes our 3rd niece, 3rd cousin for our kids. It's interesting not only that all 3 cousins are girls, but all 3 of their names also start with K.
I can't wait to talk to my sis and hear all about this wonderful day. It's so different for me to be on the receiving the end of this news...I'm so used to being the one who's been pregnant & calling everyone else to tell them about it,...sis, I seriously can't tell you how elated I am that it's YOU this time and NOT me!!!

And it's been so totally exciting and fun to be on this side of things! I can't wait to meet this little girl someday. Oh! And just think of all the awesome excuses I now have to make a bunch of little girly presents!
