My baby boy turned 14 this month...and just like that, in a blink...14 whole years have blown by unbelievably quickly! Yikes!
We had a simple little celebration at home because we left for DK on his actual birthday.
He's so grown up, and yet still my baby. Amazing how that happens, huh?
A couple of weeks later we celebrated again. This time IK went to a local amusement type park with his 2 best friends for the day, riding gokarts, bumper boats, playing laser tag and tons of video games.
It scares me to think he'll only be here at home for another VERY short 4 years before heading off to college! There's so much to prepare him (and us as parents) for in that time. Wow.
